Joseph Louth is the Chief Financial Officer of the Corpus Christi Housing Authority where he is responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to the Authorities’ over 2,100 housing units, and over 1,800 vouchers. This includes the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Public Housing, Tax Credit properties, Rental Assistance Demonstration program, Bahia Properties Inc., Thanksgiving Homes, and Corpus Christi Finance Corporation. He is also responsible for directing the fiscal functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including accounts payables, accounts receivable, grants, payroll, investments, and taxation.
Prior to serving in Public Housing, Joseph was the Financial Controller for Union Carbide (DOW-DUPONT) Seadrift production facility, a company producing over five billion pounds of petrochemicals, and employed over 1700 people.
Joseph was an adjunct accounting and business professor for Victoria College for over five years. He served as Treasurer for the local Gideons. He is a deacon at Padre Island Baptist Church.
